Super hard rocking band from Boston. This was Clay Tarver's band prior to Chavez, and here the dude totally tears it up on the guitar. This is like Reactivate-era RKL mixed with Hüsker Dü and AC/DC. The Gift was released by Taang! Records in 1989 (this version contains their self-titled EP as well). Swandive was their major label debut (released by RCA on the same day as Nevermind), and The Gun Didn't Know I Was Loaded was a compilation of rarities released by Matador Records in 1992 after the band had already broken up.
