Late 80's/early 90's alt-rock band out of Boston. J. Mascis produced the first two albums and his influence can be heard all over them. J. even solos all over the song "impossible" off the self titled album. When the first album was released the band was accused of sounding too much like Dinosaur Jr (even being referred to as Dinosaur Jr junior). I first came to know of this band when they were featured on an episode of My So Called Life (a show I watched religiously during it's first run) performing the song "Late At Night". Sadly, it wasn't until recently that I really came to appreciate this bands output (mainly through the Dinosaur Jr connection) and I'm only now catching up. I'll post the rest of the albums as I get them, but for now enjoy these.
