I saw these guys open for the Secret Machines at the Mod Club in Toronto during the winter of 2005 and they fucking burned that mother down. Pounding drums, textured and layered guitars and a vocalist who sounds more feminine than that dude from the Silversun Pickups. I think they were one of the first bands signed to the Coen Brothers' vanity label DMZ records. And T-Bone Burnett produced the shit out of this album.
