I first heard Vermont in the back seat of my friends car as we were driving to go see The Exit, it was playing out of an old shitty portable cd player because she drove a Geo which was not equipped with a radio let alone a cd player. If you didn`t know, this is Davey von Bohlen's acoustic side project to the Promise Ring and its got some of the best lyrics around, I mean how can you not like songs about Indiana Jones and Larry Bird
