Jebb Riley from Doomriders is the vocalist/bassist of this band. The Clearing is one of the best albums released this year (in my opinion). It was recorded by Kurt Ballou at his God City studio in Salem, MA and that guy has really got the midas touch. This album sounds huge, its hard to believe that it was created by a three-piece. The vocals remind me of Coliseum, and the music not unlike Tombs, with hints of Isis in there as well. All the songs on the winter session are on The Clearing, but these versions were recorded by my man Stove Breadsky in the Cave-in practice space and sound pretty good for demos.
