Brain Banger is 1/3 of Young Widows aka Nick Thieneman. I remember when their first release came out a year or so back and I thought to myself, wow is this just the scrapped Young Widows material? I mean, I was kinda into it, but definitely not as good as Old Wounds. I ended up speaking to Nick about his side project and he was thinking about scrapping the idea because they weren't getting as much attention live as Young Widows was. I think from their after I was just totally turned off him and the band. Anyway back to my review. This album isn't so bad. A little less Young Widows, a little more his own thing. Take it, or leave it.
