This is the side project of Dean Ween. For albums I and II the Moistboyz were just a duo, utilizing a drum machine, guitar and vocals. The sound is sort of electro-thrash, with almost a rap type quality to the vocal delivery (which is just hoarse shouting). However on albums III and IV the Moistboyz became a full on scuzzy party-metal band, mixing equal parts ZZ top and Black Flag. The lyrics are also very offensive and very funny. This isn't a joke band, these dudes are the real deal.
