I've already posted a bunch of this bands albums, but here is everything else (minus a shit load of EP's, whose tracks are on the two singles collections here) from one of the greatest punk/alt/indie bands of all time. Everything this band has released has been totally rad, but if pressed to pick my fav of the bunch it would be Here's Where The Strings Come In, which has some of my favourite songs by the band (especially the track"Detroit Has A Skyline). Tossing Seeds and Cup Of Sand are the aforementioned singles collections and they are also essential. Today, the Onion's AVClub posted a rad video of the band covering The Cure song "In Between Days", so here is that as well.

This album was recorded in the span of two days (twenty years ago almost to the day) and is definitely their most "punk" album. Although the album was released at the start of the decade it still contained one of the 90's best songs in "Slack Motherfucker".

Third LP by the band and first recorded with funny-man John Wurster on drums. This was also their last LP for Matador records. This was recorded at West Beach recording(Brett Gurewitz from Bad Religion's studio) by Rocket From The Crypt frontman John Reis. This album contains the songs Precision Auto and Mower, both of which totally slay.

Listen to how punk these dudes are: After Matador struck a distribution deal with A&M records, Superchunk left Matador because they wanted no part of a major label. This album was released by lead singer Mac McCaughan on his Merge Records label and was recorded and mixed in only 5 days. One of the bands best albums for sure, just listen to the song Kicked In, so good.

Great compilation of B-Sides, covers and album out-takes. A great starting place for people new to the band, and an essential release for those already hip to the chunk.
