The Icarus Line - Penance Soiree:
This is the bands high water mark. Sure they had releases before and after, but none of them hit as hard as this one. Pounding drums and bass mixed with buzzsaw guitars and a gravel-voiced frontman with a swagger like Iggy and a bark like David Yow. Supremely underrated band who deserved a bigger following. Guitarist Aaron North went on to play in NIN after this album.
